Is there an Apple TV app for the Mac? Ok, maybe a weird question, but. Here I am with my little MacBook and this huge '40 something' inch TV. Why can't I watch the streaming Apple TV content on my MacBook? Can Airplay work in reverse so I can turn that huge TV off?
If for no other reason than to save energy why can't Apple implement an Apple TV mode for our laptops and desktops? All this energy wasted.

That is the only solution that seems to work for casting TV to the Macs. Still wish I could connect from Apple TV to the Macs. Maybe I am missing something that will allow Apple TV to the Mac.
